FloorPlanStore.com is located in State Road, North Carolina. FloorPlanStore.com has developed a web-based utility which automates the creation of simple, interactive floor plans for vacation rental owners and Realtors. The owner, Brent Kleinheksel, is a veteran of the real estate industry. For the past several years he has been building out real estate websites in large growth cities across the United States. In addition to his network of real estate lead generation sites he owns a small vineyard in the Yadkin Valley Appellation of North Carolina. His daily blog on growing grapes at be found at GreatNCWines.com. The concept of FloorPlanStore.com was developed out of Brent's other passion, Rosewood Pointe. Rosewood Pointe is small resort located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Holland Michigan. Brent and his father bought the resort in late 2000. The floor plans which were included in the sale of the resort, were out of date, grainy and hardly visible when scanned and inserted into the website. While searching for a home in North Carolina, Brent stumbed upon a Realtor who was offering interactive floor plans with his listings. Brent thought it would be great if he could add this type of feature to the Rosewood Pointe website. Visitors to the website are ALWAYS calling asking questions about room layouts, beds, etc. An interactive floor plan would present guests with images and captions of each room as they move their mouse over each room in the floor plan.. After an extensive search on the Internet, it was determined that few, if any, companies were offering low cost, interactive floorplans. Brent then set out to develop just that, a service whereby a customer could have a simple, interactive web floorplans developed from either an existing floorplan or a sketch.
